| How to acquire data
1. Click “Statistical Databases” tool bar on home page then choose “Regional Data”.
2. The next page will show the lists of Countries, Data Items and Years.
3. Select Countries, Data Items and Years to define your query.
4. To perform a Multiple Parameter Selection of Items and Years, you may proceed as follows:
a) To make a multiple selection, hold down the
<Ctrl> key while selecting parameters with the left mouse button. Re-selecting a selected parameter will remove the
parameter from the selection list.
b) To make a continuous list of parameters selection, choose the first parameter in the list and, while holding down the
<Shift> key,select the last one. To perform the
same task you may also click the left mouse button on the first item of the list and, while holding the mouse button down, drag the mouse over the range of items to
select.
5. After making selection, click “Submit Query” button; the table(s) of selected data will appear.

How to add new data and edit the existing data in the Database
1. Focal point can access to member page by clicking at “Focal Point” tool bar on homepage then choose “Login” .
2. The login page will appear then enter user name and password.
3. Press “Submit” button. The next page will show you the list of data tables in the Database.
5. Click at the table you wish to add new data or edit.
6. If you click, for example, table 1 (Rice, Paddy: Planted Area, Harvested Area, Production, and Yield), the details of the table will appear as shown below.
